LIXLAND was established in September, 1992, as a response to the foundries’ need to benefit from quality machinery, plant, metal material, ferro-alloys and ancillaries.
Incorporated as a private trading company with the stated purpose of taking part in increasing the quality of cast parts, Lixland has encountered the difficulties of any beginning, facing an ever-increasing inflation, surviving dramatic moments and, while persevering, managed to proceed, diversify and develop its business.
The import-based trade business put a lot of strain on company Management, while the steady shutdown of large foundries forced Lixland to supplement its business with specialized services, with the company succeeding to avoid financial shutdown.
While managing to supplement on the go its staff of engineers, technicians and qualified and specialized workers, all dedicated to the company and the business, LIXLAND managed to be known and well-known as a trustworthy and stable company, capable of sorting out the problems in the industry at competitive prices, with quality material and services.
LIXLAND is currently operating on the Romanian market with good and excellent results; however, a business gap was beginning to be felt, something which seemed to be naturally missing, something that needed to be supplemented was in the air at the company.
And it was eventually identified: the PRODUCTION was missing!
If, up to this point, business was carried out in the “hot” area of foundries, hot metals, it was about time for LIXLAND to also take care of “cold” metal materials.
The time had come for cold machine work and tool engineering.
Therefore, beginning with 2013, Lixland bought the first automatic-cycle bar-cutting machine, followed by another and another. Currently, cutting equipment is state-of-the-art, automatic and high precision cutting control. We boast two fully-automatic package-cutting Band Saws, a Band Saw for regular, but also angular cutting, and an automatic loading/unloading Circular Machine.
That was how opportunities commenced, incarnating in an export activity.
Proceeding in the same direction, more complex machine work requests appeared, again, for export, so we were forced, by the market and life, to purchase three high-performance lathes, with numeric control, driven tools and a vertical core.
Currently, LIXLAND may carry out complex machine work for small- and medium-sized serial parts.
This year, LIXLAND is celebrating 27 years of existence, while hoping to continue to develop its machining capacities in order to promptly respond to any requests in the industry.
In the field of metals, we currently have a small-size metal shot blasting cabin for small parts, and a cabin for larger parts where large parts, ironworks of up to 6m in length and 3m in width may be cleaned.
Removal of rust, old dyes off the surface of parts and preparation of surfaces for quick dying shall be carried out swiftly, qualitatively and in due time.
The surface preparation operation shall be supplemented, starting with autumn 2019, with powder coating facilities, for small, as well as large parts, thereby covering the scope of sandblasting cabins.
Therefore, LIXLAND makes available clients and potential clients with a wide range of business, from trading of raw material and materials, machines, equipment and services for foundries, to the performance of ironworks, while also supplementing with high and precision middle-class profile- and bar-cutting – also adding machining on high-productivity centers, at this time closing (at least, temporarily) de production cycle with sandblasting-cleaning of metal surfaces and subsequently, powder coating.
Please feel free to get in touch with us if your area of interest falls under one of LIXLAND’s areas of business.
